The Unknown Aesthetic
Within 'The Unknown Aesthetic' Claire's intention was to explore and adapt an alternative approach to embroidery through the use of touch as the primary focus and design tool. Claire achieved this by unbalancing her visual senses and directing her approach to making towards physical sensation rather than sight. The result is a bizarre collection of applied texture which is intended for interiors within high-end public spaces.
